Your role in the Revolution

  • Checking and proper utilisation of documents provided by the client.
  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102, 102 1A, or 105, as applicable.
  • Prepare schedules and reconcile them with external documents such as payroll, VAT, and bank statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of draft corporation tax computations.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Liaise with other departments to gather necessary information for year-end accounts, including payroll, VAT, and other bookkeeping documents.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve queries and obtain necessary information.

Expertise you bring:

  • Qualifications: B. Com, M. Com, CA, ACCA with computer skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in UK accounting principles and a comprehensive understanding of financial procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining numerical accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Proficiency in utilising accounting software and technologies, with a willingness to adapt to new systems.

Your role in the Revolution

  • Checking and proper utilisation of documents provided by the client.
  • Processing financial transactions and ensuring proper coding within the accounting system.
  • Making necessary adjustments to financial statements at year-end, such as depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Preparing supporting schedules for the year-end accounts.
  • Preparing reconciliations such as bank, FA, payroll & VAT so that they match external reports like bank statements, VAT returns, and payroll reports.
  • Preparing draft reports based on FRS 102 or 105, as applicable.
  • Preparing and computing Corporation Tax with the available financial records.
  • Liaising with other departments to gather necessary information for year-end accounts (e.g., payroll, VAT, and other bookkeeping documents).
  • Resolving queries of Junior Accountants.
  • Communicating with clients.

Proven impact:

6 + years in UK Year-end accounts production.

 

Your skills for success:

  • Good interpersonal & networking skills, capable of building genuine connections with clients.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Leads conversations with confidence, engages actively, and poses insightful questions to clients
  • Proactive mindset that showcases your ability to take initiative and deliver results, reflecting a confident approach in all tasks
  • Target oriented.
  • Proficient in computer skills, especially in MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of UK software like IRIS, Caseware, CCH, Digita, Taxcal, Sage Accounts Production, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent, etc.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Consistently demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

 

Basics to join us:

  • Prior work experience in MNC & matrix organisation.
  • IT/ITES, Accounting industry is an advantage.

Additional information:

  • Working hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
  • Annual leave: 18 days + 8 days of casual leave
